I am not sure ki aajkal ladke waha jagran karte hai ki nahi...but during our time.....we used to eagerly wait for this festival....
after all this was one day where we used to get license to do any tod-phod around nagarwara...
Duniya festival day time manati thi...aur hum naggatte...raat ko.....jagaran aur goth karke...
infact muzhe lagta thaa school mai chutti next day honi chahiye aur naa ki chowth ke din...
dopahar ko bhaibhand kaa paale jaake makiye kharidna......aur saath mai churana bhi...
phir 9-12 movie jaana...waha mastiya karna...
uske baad nagarwara aake.....bhajiye khana.....
& then the actual fun used to start.........KAKKAIYO se DHOOM machana....
I proudly say that I was part of the gang that broke the ADDIDAS shop glass....
I was also involved in breaking the 'Vidhyaniketan School Board'...
I watched it live when one of my bhaibhand broke the window of one auto...
But sabe jyada excitement, thrill, maza aur challenge hota thaa...Govind mochi ke ghar per paresani karna....
uske ghar ki har window, darwaje per kakkiye phekte thee....
...halat ese ho gaye thee...ki nagarwara walo ke saath-saath Govind mochi ke gharwale bhi Jagran karke apne ghar ke bahar bethe rehte thee......so that they face least trouble from us...
hamare school teachers ko bhi ye baate pata chali thi...aur infact ek din muzhe pucha ki tum ye sab karte ho...aur mene besharmo ki tarah bola ki "yes...aur maza bhi aata hai tod-phod mai'
needless to say i was shown the door during that class......
I still cherish those days....jaha 1st day ladies jagaran karti thi...garbe hote thee....aur next day hum ladke jagran-gotth-aur tod-phod....

nimeshbhai i hope ki aapko wo ganpati chowth bhi yad hogi jab hamare bhajiye chura liye gaye the. Uske baad humne uska revenge bhi liya tha. Jisme sabhi group ke log the. Wo din shayed nagarwara me aatanki gotho ka last din tha. Humare waqt me wo culture jivit tha par ab shayed wo daur raha nahi.
Par yaad rahega wo time jab humne jagesh ke scooter ko tad diya tha. Goldy ke scooter ko bhi buri tarah se toda tha. Shivkumar ji ke gamle aur chhagan ji ghanti. he bhagwan hum kya the? dusre din 1.00pm ko uthna fir bhaibandho me jana. jinka nuksan kiya hai wo hame dhundhte the...

muzhe yaad hai ki kese hum saare bhabhand....tapeli lekar...sabke gharo se '1 katori besan aur 1 katori tel' collect karte thee....
aur jo pese bachte thee...usko Mayu Hotel mai jaake 1 glass dudh peete thee...
GANPATI CHOWTH...
Whole nagarwada wait for this festival except some of family in Nagarwada.....we have specailly designed electric circuit at our home..which give a switch to turn off the door bell...After that..we had spent and enjoyed a great Ganpati choth.....
Anang...mere scooter ka 1500 rs ka bill hai....mechanic ka...kab wapas karega bata dena ...nahi to mera bhanja apne kaka se wasool kar lega...akhir uske Nanaji ki property thi......
I can remember the most irritating person on earth on Ganpati chowth is Vipul(Jitender)...he used to put the sakal on front door of victims house and start knocking the door and start calling tham from his name...and that conversation was worth of million dollars..for any comedy realty show.....
Ganpati chowth was real fun during that days...Montu ko bhang ke bhajiye khila ke uska natak dekhna was good fun...
Chayan...Tunna and Bhaiya ka..Vinod talkies mein stage pe dance...was one of the unforgettable..episods....of our Nagarwada ganpati chowth...
