नवरात्री ना गरबा at अम्बामाता मन्दिर ....Then & Now....

कुछ 10-12 साल पहले......

school time per i remember the excitement we bhaibhands used to have for Navratri.
of course....new clothes ...aur wooing girls was one craze....but biggest excitement was for dancing during every night....& as late as we can....
i remember that हमारे भाई-भंड्स गोर्ध्नाथ मन्दिर के अंदर मैंन गरबे शुरू होने से पहले practice करते थे ...की सबकी steps synchronized होनी चाहिए....
डेरे पर गरबे कुछ २-३ hours तक चलते थे ..... Though we used to enjoy a lot at डेरे but main wait ye hota thaa अम्बामाता मन्दिर ke garbo kaa..... क्युकी डेरे सिर्फ़ नागरवारा वाले लोग होते थे और अम्बामाता मन्दिर में पुरे बांसवाडा के लोग आते थे...

क्युकी डेरे और अम्बामाता मन्दिर ...दोनों जगह हम नागर समाज वाले ही गरबे गाते है इसलिए डेरे गरबे ख़त्म होने पैर ही...अम्बामाता मन्दिर मई चालू होते थे .......
.....और डेरे गरबे ख़त्म होने पैर....we all used to march towards अम्बामाता मन्दिर ....

और वहा का माहोल डेरे से एकदम अलग होता था....
-काफ़ी भीड़ होती थी...... full 2 crowd....full 2 rush.....from all over Banswara...
-बहु लड़के लड़कियों को परेशांन करते थे .......इसलिए लड़के / लड़कियों के हमेशा गरबे अलग-अलग साइड गरबे किए जाते थे ....
-काफ़ी बार एसा हुआ है की...इतनी भीड़ होती थी...की रस्सियों से गरबे करने वालो की multiple lines होती थी...
- बहुत लोगो के जुटे-चप्पल चोरी होते थे.....मेरे भी २ बार हुए है॥
- daily garbe 2-3am tak chalte thee....aur last night तो सुबह 5-6am तक चलते थे॥
- उस टाइम के टॉप Dons like 'Inka da', 'Vimal da', 'Raja-Jani'....aur unke gangs की fights होती थी...और हम नागर सब उनकी fights के किस्से enjoy करते थे......

I am sure की अब तक मेने जो लिखा वो पढ़ कर आप भी खो गए होंगे वो पुराने दिनों में जब अम्बामाता मन्दिर के गरबे पुरे बांसवाडा में famous हुआ करते थे...

कुछ 4-5 साल पहले...

I was working in Noida & i managed vacations during navratri from my job....I was super excited because I was going to Navratri in Banswara after 7 years......
I buy some new clothes...in order to make sure that daily I wear new dress......& arrived in Banswara...

But what I saw on 1st night was really shocking.......the garba at nagarwara lasted only around 1hr...& scene at अम्बामाता मन्दिर even worst...I didn't find even 10% of crowd that used to be there during school days......& there was only nagar public there......& hardly anyone outside nagarwara....
And same continued for rest of the nights....
Because of the constructions at Dhere....there is not enough space....so only kids & women do the garba.....& no space for guys to do the dandiya

I asked few of my bhaibhands...about sad state of Garba at अम्बामाता मन्दिर....& they told me that there are some ego clashes between मंडल ..... between people who sing/organize at Dere अम्बामाता मन्दिर....
None of them are willing to compromise....और इसलिए अम्बामाता मन्दिर में गरबे अब पुराने दिनों की तरह famous नही रहे...

I also observed that pehle sirf Nagarwara, Kalika Mata aur Ambamata ke garbe hi Banswara mai famous होते थे पर अब I see that in every colony they organize garbas at big scale.....Infact they even hire 'Nagarwara singers' to sing for them....

So at one side....the legacy of 'Great Garbas' that we started in Banswara is being followed by rest of Banswara.....but unfortunately same legacy is not being followed or maintained by us.....
